King's Day in Golden Gate Park

Each year we are honored to be part of the King's Day celebrations, held at Murphy Windmill in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.

King's Day is a national holiday in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Celebrated on 27 April (26 April if the 27th is a Sunday), the date marks the birth of KingWillem-Alexander. There are usually 5000 or more attendees, many or most of whom are Dutch!

Take a look at all the festivities and watch for our cameo at the 2:45 mark!  You'll see Todd making a fresh stroopwafel and hear him tell a little about the history of the Dutch treat.

Kitchener Oakland Snackbar

A great little video edited by our Kitchener Mom, Sophia Chang!

It was part of our effort to support the Kickstarter (funded!) to open up the front office windows and convert the space into two walkup takeout windows at our shared commercial kitchen, Kitchener Oakland.

This video does a nice job introducing us and showing our stroopwafels being made.

Autumn Lights Festival, Oakland

Awesome video by Andrew Leslie!

We were excited to be able to vend at Oakland's annual Autumns Lights Festival in The Gardens at Lake Merritt.

Andrew candidly captured us making a couple of Blackberry Greengage and Caramel Halfsies for some lighted up visitors to the festival.

Zombie Carnival at SUBMission

Created by Maricela Yee at Little Shop Artisan Box

We aren't afraid of zombies!!!  Our good friends at SF Zombie Bar invited us to create something hot for the Zombie Carnival at SUBMission in San Francisco.

If you lose your gun, your knife and your bat, try fire! How about some heat with a Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey Boozy Caramel Stroopwafel!?!
